DOUGLAS CAMPBELL, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Douglas Campbell is the Director of Operations at Freshstone Brands Inc. He is responsible for the Manufacturing sites in Kitchener Ontario, Delisle Saskatchewan, and Charlottetown PEI. Doug is also responsible for the Distribution Center located in Kitchener Ontario. He has been in the role since joining the Company in March of 2019.
Doug has over 25 years of experience in food manufacturing, he has a wide network of food industry contacts and is well respected for his knowledge and experience. Prior to Joining Freshstone Brands he spent 10 years in charge of the eastern Canada operations for JD Sweid Foods, one of Canada’s largest poultry further processors. During his tenure with JD Sweid Foods Doug led a $25-million-dollar expansion of the facility and was instrumental in doubling the production output of the facility while maintaining a world-class food and employee safety record. Prior to JD Sweid Foods Doug led manufacturing operations with Kerry Ingredients, Cargill Meats Canada, and Cuddy Food Products. During his career he has gained extensive experience in health and safety, labour relations, and continuous improvement.
Doug studied business and achieved a certificate in management, CIM designation at the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a designation in ergonomics.
