Roberto A. Laurignano is Operations Director at the Vaughan Facility of Freshstone Brands Inc. Mr. Laurignano joined Freshstone Brands in April 2019.
Prior to joining Freshstone Brands, Mr. Laurignano served as the Plant Manager for Baxter Corporation’s medical compounding site in Mississauga, Ontario, where he grew the business from $12 million annually in sales to $23 million annually by focusing capacity on patient-specific indications.
Mr. Laurignano has escalating senior management/plant operation experience at Maple Leaf Meats Inc., Unilever PLC, GlaxoSmithKline and Apotex Inc., a wide range of food and pharmaceutical experience. He attained his Master Black in Lean/6-sigma while at GSK in 2007 and has mentored/ coached Lean/6-sigma methodology in Canada, USA and UK through his consulting business. He also created and taught the Lean Green Belt program at Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario.
Mr. Laurignano is a business transformation expert, focused on creating engagement by specifying customer value and creating value-added processes in food manufacturing, administrative and pharmaceutical environments.
Mr. Laurignano holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree specialized in Biomedical Toxicology and Biochemistry from the University of Guelph, and a Master Black Belt designation in Lean/6-sigma from Air Academy
